No Need to Fear With Atlanta Life Insurance
Where do you live? Atlanta? Alaska? A bizarre little town in Alaska that has decided to call itself Atlanta even though, clearly, it is not Atlanta? Well, if that’s the case – or if you actually live in the real city itself – then you might want to look into Atlanta life insurance.
Why Atlanta life insurance? Well, there’s just something about the extra city name that adds flavor to the whole thing. Regardless of where you buy your Atlanta life insurance you need to know the different kinds that are available. You could spend your entire life hunting down a good policy on your own, so find better things to do with that life and limit your search to a few hours online. You’ll quickly discover that all the companies typically feature variations of the same two basic insurance policies on your life.
- Temporary, or term. The ‘term’ in there says it all: this insurance only exists for a limited period of time. Once that time’s up you’ll have to either renew your policy or look elsewhere. As a consequence of this limited life span, however, this insurance is almost always cheaper than the other brand.
- Permanent insurance. This will last until you die, which is generally what you want. You’ll want to get some form of permanent protection eventually, and there are actually three different kinds of it to choose from, as well:
- Whole: Covers your whole existence, again, but you’ll only collect on your death benefits when the person dies, not the actual cash value of the policy. You can, however, take out loans against this value.
- Universal: Rather than a death benefit, this one is paid out according a cash account that accrues over the span of the policy. The premiums on these are typically more flexible than just whole.
- Variable Universal: The same as Universal, though the company invests the money in mutual funds to increase your rate of return. This comes accompanied with an increased risk of losing money.
